Q. WHO IS PROPERTY & FINANCIAL SOLUTIONS?

A. PFS is an experienced mortgage broking company whose directors have combined industry experience of over 80 years. PFS is licensed by ASIC to engage in credit activities under the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009.

PFS is a member of the Credit Ombudsman Service Limited (COSL) external dispute resolution scheme and a full member of the Finance Brokers Association of Australia (FBAA).

All brokers engaged by PFS are either directors of the company or authorised Credit Representatives under ASIC regulations.

Q. WHY REFINANCE?

A. Borrowers have differing reasons for wanting to refinance. The most obvious reason is to pay less interest. Other reasons include:

  • Lower rates
  • Extra funds for renovations, etc.
  • Consolidate debts such as credit cards, Personal Loans etc.
  • Lower monthly repayments
  • Switch to fixed interest rate loan to protect against future rate rises

Q. HOW CAN PFS OFFER SUCH A LOW RATE COMPARED TO MOST BANKS?

A. PFS has negotiated a special arrangement, underwritten by an Australian bank, specifically for its online clients. The rate applies to a full featured home loan product, unlike some other offerings which limit loan features. Also, there are no monthly or annual fees1.

Q. WHAT DOES IT COST?

A. It costs nothing to apply. If you proceed with any loan offer a standard valuation fee will apply and there are legal fees, etc., at settlement. Your broker will fully advise you of any fees prior to you making any commitment.

Q. HOW MUCH CAN I BORROW?

A. This depends on a number of variables such as income, other commitments, dependents, etc. Once you have entered your information into our Pre-Qualifying online application page you will be advised if the loan requested fits the lender's guidelines. If it does not meet the criteria we will advise you of the maximum loan which might be available to you.

Q. WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I APPLY?

A. After the Pre-Approval assessment advises that you qualify for the special offer, you will be able to complete the rest of the application form online. One of our experienced consultants will then contact you within 24 hours to advise you what documentation is required and complete the loan application process.

Q. CAN I RETURN TO THE APPLICATION LATER?

A. After the Pre-Qualification process is complete, which takes just a few minutes, you will be emailed a username and password which can be used to return to the application during the following 30 days. After 30 days, if you wish to return to complete the application you will need to commence the application again.
